Welcome to the Lacey High School Alumni Website

The Lacey Township Board of Education and administration welcome the over 10.000 Lacey High School graduates back home. Alumni Channel has provided this platform for us to connect back to our valued graduates, friends, and faculty who have contributed to the success and legacy of this pride filled high school and community.  We hope you find the site a nostalgic place to reconnect with classmates and a cherished period of life.  Reunion plans, memories, photos, life achievements, and connections long lost, now have a safe place to exist on this site.  We hope you spread the word and begin to organize your class back together.  Look for alumni events and opportunities to get you back on campus to see the legacy you as graduates have forged in the brick and mortar at Lacey High School.

Pride & Tradition! "Where Lions Roam"

Many Lacey Township High School students grow up dreaming of doing something they love for their career.  Brad Tretola is proof that it’s all out there if you pursue your dreams.

Brad is a 1995 graduate of Lacey who went to Austin, Texas in 1997.  Austin is one of the great music cities of America.  It was there that he could explore his music, songwriting and guitar playing. Today he makes his own music and tours with many different bands.  He’s performed in every state in the United States and played with just about all of his living musical heroes.  Brad was a real down to earth, polite student who most Lacey students knew.  During his time at LTHS, he was known in the area for his music, touring as early as his freshman year.  As a student here he would play his guitar at school assemblies and amaze the crowd with his talent.

His message to Lacey students today is “Don’t Quit!  Care about investing in your future.  Entrust your heart and life to Christ.  Find what it is that lights you up and where you really come alive. It’s that thing you do that makes people stop what they are doing and take notice.”  Brad enjoyed his time at Lacey, saying that school kept him grounded, helped him build social skills, and taught him how to fight through adversity.  He was a student that had friends from many groups and feels that his classmates meant so much to him.  He was elected Prom King during his senior year, a result of genuine friendships with many of his classmates.

He also added, “Know that real success is not based on your popularity or how much money you have in the bank.  It’s about the quality of friendships you have, keeping your integrity intact when everyone else compromises and staying true to yourself.”  He remembers his teachers well, though their curricular lessons are overshadowed by their influence on him personally.  He mentioned Mr. Butera, Mr. Saxton, Mr. Verity, Big Jim Dickhaus, Mrs. Hutler, Ms. Geiger, and Mr. Wagula.  His memories of high school were of  performing music, becoming friends with teachers, hanging out with friends, and falling in love.

Brad Tretola is a young man who followed his love of music, but a big part of his success is forming real relationships with those around him.
